The inseparable duo.
An intimate, candlelit wedding with a special surprise at the reception. What a dream!
Taylor and Nathan met through her previous boss whose husband grew up in the same town as Nathan. Every time Taylor’s boss saw Nathan, she suggested he ask Taylor on a date through Facebook. Once Nathan finally sent her a message, Taylor waited a few weeks to make sure he was interested before agreeing to a dinner date the day after Christmas. Their beginnings were worth the wait because the darling couple has been inseparable ever since!
Nathan told Taylor he was going to marry her in January, and both went ring shopping in April. When he picked up the ring, he knew it was time! In fact, he was so anxious that he went straight to her office to propose. He figured it was the only way to surprise Taylor!
Planning details for the romantic day.
The inspiration for the big day was to have a more “elopement style” wedding with a romantic, personal feel. Taylor says, “We knew we wanted everything to be candlelit and intimate and it was great to see our vision come to life!”
She wore a classic A-line dress from designer Hayley Paige at Schaffer’s with beautiful jeweled straps that trickled down her upper back. Complementing her stunning gown was a timeless bouquet with an assortment of white roses, carnations, and green florals crafted by White Willow. Her beautiful curled hair was done by Art of Life Salon. It was certainly an elegant ensemble flawless for the bride.
Special moments and surprises throughout the day.
Taylor was escorted by her 5-year-old daughter, Macklyn, as they walked down an aisle full of candles at Surety Hotel. Macklyn wore a sweet dress paired with a beautiful white bow as she held her mom’s hand down the aisle. It was truly a memorable moment.
At the reception, there was another unforgettable moment the happy couple will remember forever because… Taylor was 17 weeks pregnant! To celebrate, the couple planned a surprise gender reveal for their guests at the reception. As they cut into a PINK wedding cake, everyone discovered the baby was going to be a girl! This was truly a full day of celebration.
