WHERE MODERN MEETS INDUSTRIAL DO YOUR WEDDING DIFFERENT The HarMac Event Space resides in the historic Harper & McIntire building in downtown Cedar Rapids, Iowa.Completed in 1922, the building was originally a warehouse and shipping facility for Harper & McIntire's industrial hardware.The company also procured its own line of hand-crafted tools, coined "HarMac" - thus, our shared name. In 2015, the property was purchased and restored to reflect its original industrial character and charm.In 2020, the second floor of the building was repurposed into a venue by Travis Newell. No stranger to the event industry, Mr. Newell is also the owner of Unique Events, a respected event design and entertainment business.
